1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SkiCoach AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple device that you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring your device meets the minimum requirements (iPhone with iOS 17.0 or later)
• Maintaining the security of your device and any data stored by the App
• Using the App safely and not while actively skiing in a manner that could cause distraction or injury
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations while using the App

4. Disclaimer — Not Professional Instruction

SkiCoach AI is not a substitute for professional ski instruction. The App provides automated biomechanical analysis and coaching suggestions based on computer vision and machine learning. These suggestions are informational only and should not replace guidance from a qualified ski instructor or coach.

Skiing and snowboarding are inherently dangerous activities. Always ski within your ability level, follow resort rules, and seek professional instruction for skill development. The App does not assess avalanche risk, terrain safety, or environmental hazards.

5. In-App Purchases

The App may offer in-app purchases. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. We do not directly process any payment information.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkiCoach AI and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Personal injury or property damage arising from your use of the App
• Any errors or inaccuracies in the biomechanical analysis or coaching suggestions
• Loss of data stored on your device
• Interruption or unavailability of the App

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated revision date. By continuing to use the App after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of California.
